Unplugging
I was packing up my chargers for my trip this week, and it struck me that I might be a tad over-connected. I've allowed plugs and cords to command more space in my bag than my shoes. Something's got to change.
Put the phone down.
Close the laptop.
Hide the remote control and ditch the iPad.
For the weekend, the day, half a day, a few hours, SOME significant period of time - unplug.
Be disconnected from the noise, the words, the media and instead, be social.
Or, perhaps, be bored.
See what it feels like to just BE without being tethered to an electronic device; without being on Facebook and checking Twitter.
Read a book with PAGES, play a BOARD game, take a walk.
Just BE.
Who's with me?
Have a great weekend!
