"How about hitting Buford Highway this weekend?" My husband knows how to speak my "love language."  As a bonus, there are a bunch of new dishes from Creative Loafing's Best Dish list, so I enthusiastically agreed.  Off we went to Bobo Garden, in the Pinetree Shopping Center (near Chef Liu, another fan favorite) in search of Hong Kong style Lobster for two.

When we arrived, we couldn't help but notice the back wall were giant aquariums filled with fish waiting to be ordered.  I watched several fish being scooped up then served. LOVE this level of freshness!

I also love the amazing menu which was refreshingly nonsensical.  Did you catch the line? Did you notice the capitalization?

Add At The End Powder, Face The End Of the End of Noodles

Well, all right then!

I also noticed this place was probably the cleanest looking place I had ever been to on Buford Highway. Put another mark in the positive column.

But, how was the dish?  Well, it's a delicious mess.

Hong Kong style means the lobster is covered with a seasoned flour then fried.  It's topped with a mixture of scallions, garlic, and ginger and you pick it apart for the lobster meat.

For the record, be careful to eat around the red peppers! This approach to lobster was an entirely new experience, and I couldn't have loved it more.  So INCREDIBLY list worthy!!  If you aren't on board for all of these crazy adventures, you should definitely try this dish!

We also had the dumplings and a side of veggies. The snow pea greens were great, but the dumplings were average.Even so, this meal was extremely satisfying!
