No one does this better than the annual Christmas spot by British retailer John Lewis.
In this year's installment we see a beautiful illustration of loneliness and connection. Mother Teresa once commented, “The most terrible poverty is loneliness, and the feeling of being unloved.” We need to remember that Christmas often brings loneliness in high relief and makes isolation more painful.
This week make a list of people who would be encouraged by your call and touched by your attention. Then follow up and make a connection.
