Capturing The Miracle of Life
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein
Every now and then I find a story so incredible my heart bursts with emotion, and not only do I cry, I UGLY cry.
Do you ever UGLY cry even when you're happy? You might today (fair warning in case you're wearing mascara).
This film is remarkable.
What you'll see is a miraculous story. Benjamin Scot is a photographer who chronicled the journey of his son, Ward, who was born at 1.5 lbs and spent 107 days in NICU before coming home. On the vimeo site Benjamin sets up the video this way:
He was born way too early, and the obstacles he had to overcome were really big, but not bigger than our God.
This is a story of a mother's love for her baby.
A year ago from this Halloween he came home. I made this video to commemorate his first year and how far he has come. Today happens to be his mother's birthday... so I made this as a gift to her.
I want to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff all over the world that make it their life's mission to help babies get better! It's because of you that my son ever stood a chance to make it home!
Wow.
Just wow.
